We manufacture the garden cabinet from Corten steel that is a full 2 mm thick. We supply all Corten steel products in an unrusted state. The natural rusting process begins as soon as the material is exposed to the elements. After approximately 4 to 5 months, the Corten steel develops its characteristic, warm rust-colored patina. During the rusting process, the steel may leave marks on surfaces; however, this stops once the process is complete. A key advantage of Corten steel is that it does not rust through completely. Products must be unpacked immediately after delivery. Because it is important that any moisture between the packaging and the product can be removed immediately. This can otherwise cause irregular rust and stains. All products are delivered without rust.
