Durable Corten steel
For wood storage from 120 cm wide, we use 3 mm thick Corten steel. The 60, 80 and 100 cm wide versions are made of 2 mm thick Corten steel.
All our Corten steel products are delivered unroasted. Under the influence of weather and wind, the characteristic rust color naturally develops. After about 4 to 5 months, the Corten Steel has a fully developed rust layer. During this natural rusting process, the material may temporarily release some. Once the rust layer is completely formed, this no longer happens. Corten steel is particularly durable: it does rust, but does not rust through. This allows you to leave the wood storage outside all year round, without worrying about the weather conditions.

Products must be unpacked immediately after delivery. Because it is important that any moisture between the packaging and the product can be removed immediately. This can otherwise cause irregular rust and stains. All products are delivered without rust.

Cor-Ten steel also known as weatherproof steel. It is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, silicon, nickel and chromium are added. Corten steel is a very strong type of steel.
